Safety Alert!
Rapid snow melt in High Country.  Use extreme caution or stay away from Arkansas River.  This is from the National Weather Service.

They are saying Canon City but expect all of the Arkansas River to rise.

GPOC claims on the Arkansas – Saturday the river was at 2440 cubic feet per second, Sunday the river flows had hit 3000 cps at the Wellsville gage and Monday atnoon– it is at 3880 cfs and headed higher!!!
